“Surfaces” is a remotely shared sculptures project we're working on while working in separate places because of the COVID-19 emergency situation. Artworks divided in parts that come together despite the distance.

Since years we work on the decomposition of elements in different parts, connected between them by a common balance.
This aspect of our work assumed a new perspective in this period where circumstances obligate us working remotely and everyone to stay separate. It's a time when links and connections becomes even more visible precisely because they resist to the distance.

"Surface" is the meeting point of two realities. A line that divides and connects adjacent or distant spaces: the surface of the water, the skin of a whale, a wall, the glass of a screen. It could be a border, but also something to have in common; a blank sheet or a window.
